Print Methods

DIRECT TO GARMENT DIGITAL PRINTING

Direct To Garment printing is a very clever process which involves a large printer that prints directly on to the garment. Using this extraordinary piece of technology allows you to get a full range of colours, much like a normal full colour printer, in one design at no extra cost and no set up fees. This is only available on white or light coloured garments.

SCREEN PRINTING

Screen Printing involves cutting a screen, or numerous screens depending on the amount of colours used in the design. Then a plastisol ink is pulled through a screen on to the garment creating your design, and then heat cured to prevent cracking and bleeding. This gives an excellent image and is most suitable if your design is intricate or has many colours. Screen Printing is very well priced on bulk orders (minimum order is 10 garments with the same design) and has a limitless spectrum of colours available for your design.

PRINT AND CUT

Photo Transfer Print/Cut Printing is a used when a photo image is needed to be printed on to a dark coloured T-shirt. The Printer prints directly on to vinyl, and then the digital cutter cuts the print out, this is then heat transferred on to the garment. This process gives you infinite colours available in your design and is perfect for printing photographs and other full colour images.

VINYL PRINTING

Vinyl printing involves a computer generated cutter making your design and then it being printed on to your garment. Due to this reason there is no need to set up screens and therefore no set up charges are involved. However, we are limited in the number of colours we can use on a design and try to limit this to one or possibly two colours per design. This method gives unbelievably clean lines and colours and is also excellent for bulk printing. With this method of printing it is easy to change the design, and do 2 in one design and 5 in a different design etc... There are also no minimum quantities for this method of printing.

If you're not sure which method of printing would be right for your garments, or you would like to receive a quote on one or more of these methods, please feel free to get in contact with your closest store with a brief idea of what you're after (a design (or idea), print quantity and garment colour is helpful - please let us know as much information as you can).
